Using Lab portal within the eMedify HMS system

1. Reporting

• Collect Sample:
  • Prescription ID: This section allows you to search for and collect samples based on the prescription ID provided by the doctor.
  • Add new request and collect sample: This option seems to be for scenarios where a sample collection request is initiated directly within the lab portal, without a prior prescription.
• Upload Results:
  • Order ID: You can upload the results of lab tests here by entering the associated order ID.
• View Results:
  • View/Download Results: This section allows you to view and download the results of completed lab tests in PDF format. You can also send the results PDF to the concerned parties.

2. Investigations

• View/Edit Tests: This section likely allows you to view and modify the list of available lab tests.
• Add Tests: This option enables you to add new lab tests to the system.

3. Accounting

• View Balance Sheet: This section provides access to the lab's financial records, including balance sheets.

4. Application

• All Requisitions: This section displays a list of all the lab requisitions received, with a date range filter for easy searching.

5. Other Key Features

• PENDING REPORTS: This counter shows the number of lab reports that are currently pending.
• SAMPLES COLLECTED TODAY: This counter displays the number of samples collected on the current day.
• TIME EFFICIENCY: This graph represents the lab's efficiency in processing samples and generating reports.
• RESULTS UPLOADED: This counter shows the number of lab results uploaded on the current day.

This dashboard provides a centralized hub for lab technicians and staff to manage sample collection, process tests, upload results, view reports, and track key performance indicators.
