Clinic Floor Plan Builder & Design Catalog

Four reference floor plans for de-addiction and psychiatry facilities, plus a drag-and-drop builder to sketch your own, with live compliance checks tied to the room and space norms across state rules.

Runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you design here is uploaded or saved by MindFlow. Drag rooms onto the grid, resize from the corner handle, and export a PDF when you're done.

Reference floor plans

Four common facility types, sized and laid out around the room requirements that actually show up in state minimum-standards documents and licensing rules. Click "Load into builder" to open one as a starting point you can edit.

Custom builder

Set your plot size, add rooms from the palette, then drag to position and drag the bottom-right corner to resize. Everything snaps to a 1-foot grid.

Compliance checks

A planning aid, not an architectural or regulatory sign-off. These checks reflect common patterns across the state rules we've researched (see below), not a complete or state-verified checklist. Confirm actual space, fire-safety and infrastructure norms with your specific State Mental Health Authority and a licensed architect before finalising a real layout.

Where these room requirements come from

Every default room and compliance flag above ties back to something specific we found while researching state licensing rules, not a generic template.

Separate male and female wards

A near-universal requirement across every state minimum-standards document we reviewed, including Delhi's and Tamil Nadu's gazetted standards.

~40 sq ft per bed

Derived from Jammu & Kashmir's 2026 Rules, which set a minimum of 400 sq ft per 10 indoor beds, the most explicit space norm we found in any state's rules.

Dedicated, lockable medicine storage

A recurring requirement wherever a centre dispenses controlled substances; see our NDPS register template for the stock-register side of this.

Nursing station near the ward

Implied by staffing ratios like J&K's 1 nurse per 10 patients and Haryana's Form B accommodation fields, which ask directly about ward and nursing layout.

CCTV coverage of critical areas

Explicitly mandated with a 90-day retention period under J&K's 2026 Rules, and a growing expectation elsewhere; the builder doesn't map camera positions, but budget for it in your final design.

Dedicated counselling and OPD rooms

Named directly in Haryana's SMHA Form B as part of what a facility must specify to register.
