Episode reference numbering

Each episode is automatically assigned a unique reference in the format PREFIX-YEAR-NNNN (e.g., SR-2026-0001), configurable via the clinic's episode prefix setting, incrementing per year.

Step-by-step

Go to Seclusion & Restraint Register for the admission.
Log a new episode: reason, type (seclusion/restraint/both), start time, and clinical justification.
Record ongoing monitoring entries throughout the episode as required (vitals, behavior checks at set intervals).
Record the end time once the episode concludes.
Complete the mandatory debrief — review with the patient and staff, lessons learned, and any care plan changes.
