Patient Portal

Patient Portal Overview

The Patient Portal (?page=patient-portal) is the patient-facing side of MindFlow — a separate login (?page=patient-login) from staff accounts, where patients can view their own health information and interact with the clinic directly.

What patients can do

  • View medications, lab reports, and vitals shared by their doctor.
  • Complete self-report scales/check-ins (e.g., anxiety, PTSD-related questionnaires, mood tracking) and see their own score history.
  • Complete assigned homework modules.
  • View and top up their wallet, and pay for appointments/invoices online.
  • Book appointments (including walk-in self-booking).
  • Manage ABHA/ABDM linkage (national digital health ID) if enabled.
  • Message the clinic (see Messaging).
  • Manage account and privacy settings.

Logging in

Patients log in separately from staff at ?page=patient-login, with their own forgot/reset password flow (patient-forgot-password / patient-reset-password).

Common issues & fixes

confirm the portal was enabled for them (done from their record in the main app) and that a portal email/password was set.
some sections (ABHA, wallet, homework) only appear if the corresponding feature is enabled for the clinic.
most portal views reflect what staff have entered/shared; check with the clinician if something seems out of date.
