Settings & Integrations

Communication Channels (Email, SMS, WhatsApp, Push, Telegram)

MindFlow can reach patients through five channels, each configured independently under Settings. A status indicator on each tab shows whether it's actively configured.

Email/SMTP (`tab=email`)

Configure outgoing email (SMTP host, port, credentials) used for reminders, prescriptions, and notifications. Email Templates (?page=email-settings) is a separate page for customizing the actual wording/HTML of each email type.

SMS — Twilio (`tab=sms`)

Configure Twilio credentials to send appointment reminders via SMS.

WhatsApp — Meta Cloud API (`tab=whatsapp`)

Configure WhatsApp Business messaging via Meta's Cloud API, including:

  • Webhook setup for delivery receipts and inbound patient messages.
  • Testing Console to verify credentials, list approved templates, and send test messages.
  • Setup Guide with steps specifically for Meta's Developer free plan.
  • Smart WhatsApp Bot — an automated conversational bot layer.
  • Linked WhatsApp Patients — see which patients have connected their WhatsApp number.

Push Notifications (`tab=push`)

Browser push notifications for patients who opt in via the portal.

Telegram (`tab=telegram`)

Send reminders/alerts over Telegram and run the clinic's Telegram bot; patients link their account from the Patient Portal.

Common issues & fixes

save the settings form fully; some channels require a successful test send before showing "Active."
Meta's Business API requires patients to have messaged in first or opted in, and message templates must be pre-approved by Meta.
check SPF/DKIM/domain reputation with your SMTP provider; this is outside the app's control.
confirm the bot token is correctly configured and the bot hasn't been blocked.
