Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit original manuscripts to the Journal of Psychiatric Research & Clinical Practice (JPRCP). All submissions undergo an initial editorial evaluation to determine their relevance to the journal’s aims, scope, ethical standards, and scientific quality. Manuscripts considered suitable for the journal will proceed to a double-blind peer-review process conducted by independent reviewers.

The journal welcomes submissions including original research articles, review articles, case reports, editorials, brief communications, and letters to the editor in the fields of psychiatry, mental health, behavioral sciences, neuroscience, psychotherapy, addiction medicine, and related disciplines.

Before submission, authors are responsible for ensuring that:

  • the manuscript is original and has not been published or submitted elsewhere;

  • all listed authors have significantly contributed to the work and approve the final manuscript;

  • appropriate permissions have been obtained for copyrighted material, figures, tables, photographs, datasets, or supplementary files;

  • studies involving human participants or animals have received approval from an appropriate ethics committee or institutional review board, wherever applicable;

  • informed consent has been obtained where required.

The editorial office reserves the right to reject manuscripts at the preliminary stage if they do not meet the journal’s standards for scientific quality, ethical compliance, formatting, originality, or relevance to the journal scope.

Authors are encouraged to ensure that:

  • the title is concise and informative;

  • the abstract clearly summarizes the objectives, methods, results, and conclusions;

  • the manuscript is properly structured and written in clear academic English;

  • references are accurately formatted;

  • plagiarism and AI-generated inaccuracies are avoided.

All accepted manuscripts may be subject to editorial revisions for clarity, language, formatting, and consistency.

Article Processing Charges (APC)

JPRCP is an open-access journal. An Article Processing Charge (APC) of USD 200 may apply after acceptance of the manuscript to support editorial processing, peer review management, digital archiving, and publication services.

The Editorial Board may waive or reduce APCs for deserving authors, students, early-career researchers, or authors from low-resource settings upon reasonable request.

There are no submission charges.

Authors are advised to carefully review the submission checklist before completing the online submission process.
