Therapists, Doctors family-therapy group-therapy counseling psychoeducation attendance

Family Therapy & Counseling (ipd/pages/family_therapy.php) logs both individual/family therapy sessions and group therapy attendance for an admission — covering session logs, psychoeducation, and group participation. Requires ipd_progress_notes.

Logging a family/individual session

  1. Go to Family Therapy & Counseling.
  2. Record session date/time, session type, attendees, duration, themes discussed, whether the patient was present, homework given, next session date, and an outcome rating.

Logging group attendance

  1. On the same page, switch to the group attendance section.
  2. Record the session date, group type/name, facilitator, attendance status, and participation level for the patient.

Common issues & fixes

requires ipd_progress_notes.
that's expected; use it consistently across sessions for meaningful trend tracking rather than as an absolute measure.
while optional in the form, recording it helps with continuity if questions arise later.
