Treatment Plans (ipd/pages/treatment_plans.php) documents the multidisciplinary care plan for an inpatient — goals, interventions, and responsible disciplines (psychiatry, nursing, therapy, social work, etc.) working together toward the patient's recovery. Requires ipd_progress_notes.

Step-by-step

  1. Go to Treatment Plans for the admission.
  2. Define goals for the admission (clinical, functional, discharge-readiness).
  3. Assign interventions and the responsible discipline/team member for each.
  4. Update progress against goals as the admission continues.
  5. Review and revise the plan collaboratively, ideally alongside MDT Meetings.

update the treatment plan promptly after each MDT meeting so it stays the single source of truth for the care team.
