Doctors, Nurses, Admins take-home-doses ost approval-workflow de-addiction

Take-Home Dose Requests (ipd/pages/takehome_requests.php) manages the request-review-approval workflow for allowing an OST patient to take medication doses home, rather than receiving every dose on-site. Requesting requires ipd_ndps_write.

Step-by-step

  1. Go to Take-Home Dose Requests for the admission.
  2. Request: specify the drug, number of requested doses, and clinical reason.
  3. The system checks the request against the applicable state compliance profile's take-home limits.
  4. A reviewer (per clinic policy) approves or declines the request.
  5. Approved take-home doses are then dispensed and tracked accordingly.
